The new standard space capsules will be polygons in Shape instead of tubular; like a train car but with wider base than the roof. There will be no wires exposed. Each capsule will be a space ship in its own right capable of re entry with small rockets at top and bottom to assist in maneuvering the ship. The interior finish will be complete and resemble the interior of any regular passenger airliner with enclosed but easy to find wires with instructions available for maintenance and a few androids capable of finishing diagnostics and actually completing repairs. Each capsule will be able to hold 40 people in their own space cabins with space for interaction. Some capsules will be constructed as labs and designed accordingly. It will take 15 capsules to constitute a space port when all 15 are interconnected. The centre capsule will be a landing pod big enough for an XB70 to land and can be added at any time. A space walker should be able to enter any capsule if required in emergency and the capsules will be designed accordingly.
