Propulsion(TM) This just in; it is rumored that Ford is coming out with a standard hybrid engine offering for all of its products; wow! It is kind of two decades late but welcome any time soon. This would offer the consumer the popular 5.0 litre v8 engine as a hybrid engine with significant fuel savings with all of the same hybrid muscle, sound, market popularity and excitement. It's a total marketing win for Ford and will win back significant market share just for a small hybrid gismo and an extra battery. That's it; a win and it will help China stave off the attack on market share in American presented by zero fuel electric Asian vehicles. Well, Ford might be owned by China now any way so really this is about the environment and fuel cost savings for those who like the Detroit muscle car. The Dodge muscle cars are sure to follow this muscle hybrid variant; a technological triumph.
