Toronto — The tribute to racing legend Gilles Villeneuve continues its roadshow tour with the grand opening of The Gilles Villeneuve Pit Stop, the 5th edition of the brand's prestigious pop-up series, making its debut at the Canadian International AutoShow.
This high-caliber heritage showcase serves as the physical home for the new Gilles Villeneuve brand, which was designed and launched in collaboration with Sid Lee on May 27, 2025. This latest edition in Toronto offers an elevated, world-class experience, meticulously designed to honour the memory and "high-octane" passion of one of Canada’s most iconic drivers.
A World-Class Heritage Experience
Designed as a sophisticated tribute, this immersive showcase brings a museum-quality environment to the heart of the country's largest Automotive event. The space features a refined scenography that includes:
• The GV Heritage Collection: A dedicated boutique featuring the official apparel and accessories brand launched last May.
• A Visual Journey: A curated wall of photographs retracing the legendary career and private moments of the driver.
• Iconic Replicas: A rare opportunity to view faithful recreations of the 1977 Ferrari T2 and the 1976 Skiroule Formula Atlantic, racing suits, and helmets that defined this era, generously provide by Christal Film, Producer of the official Gilles Villeneuve Biopic, slated for release in late 2026.
• Exclusive video: High-quality video content celebrating the enduring energy of the Villeneuve name.
"Bringing the 5th edition of this pop-up to Toronto—the peak of the Canadian Auto circuit—is a powerful moment for us," says Melanie Villeneuve. "Since the brand's launch last May, this roadshow has allowed us to offer fans a high-quality 'Pit Stop' to reconnect with my father’s energy and his enduring impact on the world of racing."
An Enduring Legacy
Over forty years after his final lap, Gilles Villeneuve remains a global icon of audacity and talent. This immersive roadshow redefines the heritage experience through a refined, artistic lens, ensuring the legend continues to inspire a new generation of automotive enthusiasts across Canada.
“Hosting this showcase to honour Gilles Villeneuve, one of the country’s most iconic and beloved drivers, is a real honour for the AutoShow and an exhibit that all motorsport fans will want to come see,” said Jason Campbell, General Manager, Canadian International AutoShow.
The Gilles Villeneuve Pit Stop is located within The Vault, Presented by Simoniz, in the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
