GM Highlights Performance Leadership and Product Innovation at the Canadian International AutoShow

Toronto — General Motors is putting performance and innovation on full display at the Canadian International Auto Show with the debut of three exciting vehicles:

  • Canadian Debut of the Cadillac F1 ® Team Replica Car proudly wearing the Cadillac Formula 1® Team Barcelona Shakedown livery. Unveiling of the final livery was revealed on February 8th.

  • Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X North America’s quickest production car with an 8.675 second quarter mile and extreme performance for sports car enthusiasts.

  • Back by popular demand, the improved 2027 Chevrolet Bolt offers up to 422 km of GM-estimated range and is expected to be one of Canada’s most affordable EVs - giving Canadian’s the value and range they’re looking for.

With the broadest lineup on the show floor, General Motors is showcasing the most diverse electric vehicle portfolio in Canada and a wide range of gas-powered models across Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac. From small crossovers and luxury SUVs to high-performance sports cars and capable trucks, General Motors is giving Canadians real choice across price points, segments, and driving needs.

“Being Canada’s sales leader for the third year in a row comes down to giving Canadians real choice,” said Shane Peever, General Motors Canada Vice President of Sales, Service and Marketing. “At the Canadian International Auto Show, we’re inviting Canadians to experience the full strength of General Motors firsthand. From the first-ever Canadian appearance of the Cadillac Formula 1 replica to the performance of the Corvette ZR1X, to the value and accessibility of the new Chevrolet Bolt EV.”

“For any Cadillac and Corvette fans, this show will be an exciting opportunity to see two incredible vehicles from General Motors” said Jason Campbell, General Manager, Canadian International Auto Show. “Then when you add the new Chevrolet Bolt and the rest of the lineup, it’s a great opportunity to experience the range of technology, performance and innovation on display.”

The General Motors display is located in the South Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and will also feature the following activations and vehicles on display:

  • As an official partner of Major League Soccer and the Toronto FC, Chevrolet has reimagined the classic Skee-ball arcade game with a soccer twist, players kick real soccer balls toward tiered goals and competed to claim the highest score of the day.
