We see that the battery powered electric might have a very high environmental foot print. It would seem that a fly wheel is timeless essentially. The alternators are small little gizmos that do not cost very much and can be swapped in when the alternators get tired. The next step best option is the gas powered vehicle that uses propane or hydrogen. The Toyota Mirai follows this option.
