AT News; In the wake of the recent Northern Airline accident, where all the crew and passengers survived an aircraft landing crash and rollover, new aircraft designs are arriving soon for regular consumer flights; a blended wing design. The blended wing, since the 1920's has proven to be a more stable design in the case of landings and head winds. It also has proven to be more stable and safe in the case of accidents. In the case of the recent accident as witnessed by all across the world now seen on video, the blended wing design would not roll over but is expected to skid maybe for some distance. There is no wing attached to tine design such that there is no wing that could break off, enabling the craft to roll. Also, the fire that we witnessed would not have transpired.
