Toronto, Ontario — This year’s Canadian International AutoShow will feature the Ontario debut of the all-new 2026 Lexus ES. A fixture within the Lexus lineup for more than 35 years, this new 8th generation ES is the brand’s first core model to be re-imagined as a multi-platform vehicle and will be offered in both hybrid (HEV) and battery-electric (BEV) powertrains when it arrives at Lexus dealers across Canada this Spring.
“The all-new 2026 Lexus ES represents a bold evolution of one of our most iconic nameplates, and the Canadian International AutoShow is the perfect place to introduce it to Ontario audiences,” said Martin Gilbert, Director of Lexus Canada. “By offering both hybrid and all-electric powertrains, the new ES reflects our commitment to delivering refined luxury, advanced technology, and electrified choice—without compromising the comfort and craftsmanship our Guests expect from Lexus.”
Built on a redesigned GA-K platform, the all-new Lexus ES is developed specifically to accommodate both HEV and BEV powertrains. The ES 350h offers enhanced power performance and will come with standard AWD in Canada. Meanwhile, the ES will be offered in two all-electric models: the ES 350e front-wheel drive and the ES 500e all-wheel drive.
“Whenever a brand like Lexus decides to re-imagine a celebrated model like the ES, we’re proud to provide enthusiasts of the brand and industry with an opportunity to come and see it in-person,” said Jason Campbell, General Manager, Canadian International AutoShow.
The Lexus display is located in the South Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and will also showcase the brand’s full range of luxury vehicles – including the LC Convertible Inspiration Edition, battery-electric RZ, and several other SUVs, including the Canadian-made and best-selling NX and RX. Also on display will be two custom wrapped vehicles – a Lexus RZ 450e and RX 450h+ - in celebration of Lexus’s partnership with Cirque du Soleil.
