As of today's date, Poo Power™ is being renamed ALUSRA 2 ENERGY™.   The genius of  ALUSRA 2 ENERGY(TM)  or A2E™ formerly known as Prions 2 Energy™  is to increase the range of large and small passenger jets and also planes carrying freight and post around the world. It could power commuter trains also.     The fuel is essentially hydrogen.   It's lighter and more cost effective. It powers a fuel cell that is really a generator.  You can use a hydrogen filled tank on board instead of a liquid fossil fuel. It's fuel efficient and environmentally friendly.   The amount of hydrogen contained in a four cup portable Thermos is enough hydrogen to power a Boeing  747  to fly across the Atlantic.  It's also enough Hydrogen for a Lear Jet or a Cruise Ship.    The manual hydrogen fueling system with a hydrogen tank is still available to fuel the plane or possibly also a submarine or a passenger ship with hydrogen. But, this system will allow for continual refueling of a second hydrogen tank that will be refilled by the food and human waste consumed on board that is turned into hydrogen gas. About 3/4 of a fuel tank will be achieved with food waste collected from one flight.

Fuel Cell Powered Jet Engine

The Fuel Cell Powered Jet Engine works with existing jet engine technology referred to as a turbo fan engine that spins at high velocity as it sucks air through the engine, blowing the air at high speed to achieve high velocity propulsion. The engine is powered by electricity; not jet fuel. This is true for all jet engines. Some early designs were based on a kerosene burning concept that is rather expensive and restrictive in terms of weight. The fuel cell burns a non – liquid gas such as propane or hydrogen or methane. The fuel cell generates electricity. It is the central power source as a generator. The engines are wired to this generator for the electric power that enables the high velocity turbo fan to generate its high velocity engine rotations. A nuclear jet was designed once where nuclear fuel was used to power a generator that provided electric power to the turbo fan engines yet it was toxic for the crew that could not endure the high radiation. The concept was first proposed by Warren A. Lyon as applied to aeronautical travel in relation to the propulsion of turbo fan jet engines required for long term space travel using fuel cells and hydrogen or methane gas. To achieve a self sufficiency without need for refusing of any kind, the human stool or urine from passengers and crew would be used on board for the generation of hydrogen or methane instead of released out of the ship; into space. This would enable the ship to be an independent biosphere in terms of energy. The ship itself does not have to be built in space as some science fiction movies like Star Wars conclude as gravity would make assembly time consuming. Build it on earth and launch from earth. You could build it modularly and assemble it in space or build an entire ship as large as a cruise ship but designed for space travel and launch it from earth.

The Fuel Cell in the Home

A fuel cell can also be linked together with a molecular separator that can distill hydrogen from human waste or from disposed kitchen or restaurant food waste. The ALUSRA(TM) bathroom or portable toilet, the ALUSRA(TM) portable stove or barbecue(human waste is broken down molecularly to produce methane gas to power a stove or barbecue and provide electricity as a power source with ac/dc outlets.) and the ALUSRA Power(TM) kitchen sink incinerator(generator) are based on this concept. On future home and building designs, The ALUSRA Power (TM) toilet and the ALUSRA Power(TM) sink will be wired into homes and the municipal power grid where the electric energy produced will provide electricity to the home and through wiring will trickle excess electric power into the main municipal power grid to provide power to the community at large after providing power to the home. It will also trickle excess hydrogen or methane gas to the municipal gas supply. The Great advantage is the reduction of waste in the waterways, oceans and lakes and the reduction of the burden and cost on water filtration. This product could be used on a larger scale at the  Water  Recycling plants where the filtered waste can be used to capture hydrogen and Methane to produce electricity with a fuel cell. Also burning sand at high temperature can produce hydrogen gas according to some studies.
