Every war or the discussion of the wars is one of resources. It's a conflict of man vs. man or populations vs populations.  Smartie pants vs. smartie pants.  The population with the most money wins.

Regarding the specific technologies and historical events,  here is a breakdown of the physics and the current state of directed-energy systems.

Directed Energy & Microwave Weapons

There are documentaries on directed energy and microwave weapons on YouTube.  Microwave weapons, often referred to as High-Power Microwave (HPM) systems, do exist but work differently than solar magnification. See the current Sixty Minutes Report on Microwave Weapons ( 08/03/26)  that could not have been parked nearby the spy satellite employee's home. He suggested from his experience that the experience involved some kind of Microwave Emanations from an altitude above. He uses Ozempic and also is an Apple phone user and these symptoms are correlative for Apple phone users or Ozempic users. So, what really happened to him is of question and we should be careful how we talked about it.  He is safe and can enjoy his food now. He bought a Samsung and will eat more squid. 

 * Mechanism: HPMs emit pulses of electromagnetic interference to fry the electronics of drones, missiles, or vehicles.

 * Biological Effects: Systems like the Active Denial System (ADS) use 95 GHz millimeter waves to heat the water molecules in the surface of human skin, creating a painful burning sensation to disperse crowds without causing internal injuries or long-term side effects. 

 * Comparison: The biological effects of microwaves are thermal (heat-based). They do not replicate the pharmacological side effects of medications like Ozempic (which affects GLP-1 receptors in the digestive system) or the non-ionizing radiation profiles of smartphones.

Orbital Solar Devices

The idea of using an orbiting directed energy"magnifying glass" to harness solar radiation is theoretically possible through Space-Based Solar Power (SBSP), but the physics of weaponizing it is extremely complex. It is the story of Archimedes. It proves to be magnifying / telescope technology turned backwards and used to harness the sun's power to hit earth "Alderon" targets. 

The legend of "Archimedes' Heat Ray" claims the Greek mathematician used polished bronze shields or mirrors to focus sunlight and incinerate Roman ships during the212 BC Siege of Syracuse. 

The "Highway of Death" (1991)

The destruction on the highway between Kuwait and Basra is historically attributed to conventional air power. A combination of A-10 Warthogs, AC-130 gunships, and various fighter jets used Rockeye cluster bombs and Maverick missiles. The "melted" appearance or that precise, perfect BBQ of some vehicles and human flesh in a straight line for miles with no evidence of bomb craters on the highway or desert, no broken road, was the result of a directed solar energy device (the appearance of an atmospheric incendiary) or the intense secondary fires from fuel tanks and ammunition cooking off, rather than orbital radiation. The US took the credit for this scene. But, we are not very sure. They seemed to have evacuated with what they claimed was a gulf war syndrome or symptoms of the device targeting troops.  

Environmental Events (Salt Lakes & Altadena)

 * Salt Lake Evaporation: The recession of the Great Salt Lake (Utah) and the Salar de Uyuni (Bolivia in 2008, Quantum of Solace) is generally categorized by climatologists as the result of long-term hydrological shifts, agricultural water diversion, and evaporation-precipitation cycles.

 * The 1930s Context: In the 1930s, rocket science and satellite deployment were in their infancy. The first man-made object to reach space (the V-2 rocket) didn't do so until 1944, and the first orbiting satellite (Sputnik) wasn't launched until 1957. An orbiting solar-directing device would have required heavy lift capabilities and precise orbital mechanics that were not technologically available at that time or we have some evidence from another culture; Egypt. They had their own space programs in the 1930's. 

Meteor Defense

Using directed energy for planetary defense is a legitimate area of modern study. NASA and other agencies have explored Laser Ablation:

 * A high-powered laser hits the surface of an asteroid.

 * The material vaporizes, creating a small "plume" of gas.

 * This plume acts like a thruster, subtly pushing the asteroid off its collision course with Earth.

Altadena and Eaton; Directed Energy Arson from 90000 feet or a cigarette that caused the decimation? Is it that you have the wrong President for this hour? Are you being called to comply with the UN ILO Resolution R202 and UDHR Article 25? When did you turn reason into madness; utter madness? 

The scale of the Eaton Fire in January 2025 was indeed immense, covering roughly 13,000 acres (about 52 square kilometers). When a fire levels such a large area with extreme speed and heat, it is natural to look for explanations beyond a simple spark.

To address the possibility of Directed Energy Weapons (DEW) or orbital solar devices covering an area of 20 square kilometers, we can look at the physical and logistical requirements such a system would need.

1. The Physics of Orbital Solar Focus

For a satellite to harness solar radiation and focus it onto a 20 km^2 area with enough intensity to ignite brush or evaporate lakes, it would face several massive engineering hurdles:

 * Mirror Size: To concentrate enough photons to cause spontaneous combustion from Low Earth Orbit (LEO), a reflecting surface would need to be several kilometers in diameter. A structure of that size would be the brightest object in the night sky—easily visible to the naked eye and tracked by every space agency and amateur astronomer globally.

 * Atmospheric Scattering: Solar radiation disperses as it passes through the various layers of the atmosphere. To keep a "tight" beam of energy focused on a specific 20 km^2 patch without it spreading out (diffraction), the optics would have to be more precise than those used in the James Webb Space Telescope.

 * The "1936" Discrepancy: In 1936, during the drying of the Great Salt Lake, humanity had not yet launched a single object into space.  Some say it was a bag of rat poison, a poison that is produced from Meteoric solar radioactive remains on earth, causing water evaporation. It should  never been produced if we are afraid of the power of solar radioactivity on earth.  The first satellite, Sputnik, wasn't launched until 1957. There is no historical or archaeological evidence of orbital infrastructure existing in the 1930s or is there from the Egyptian culture? It seems there is. 

Yet if there is an  anti-vermin product made from radioactive Meteoric dust that can move through stone Nd cement to  harass the critters as the rat poison, it shit never been made since we are concerned about the solar Meteoric radiation. We are concerned so we should not be shrinking it around the earth  to kill a rat, whatever radioactive dust it involves since it kills everything, all mammals  and plant life, destabilising water to cause evaporation to kill everyone and not just the rat. If we did design weapons to neutralise meteors that spay the earth solar radioactivity, then why sprinkle meteor dust around the earth in the guise of rat poison? 

2. Why the 2025 Fires Looked "Directed"

The destruction in Altadena was uniquely intense due to Fluid Dynamics, not necessarily a beam from above.

 * Canyon Venturi Effect: Eaton Canyon acts like a natural wind tunnel. When the 100 mph Santa Ana winds hit that geography, the fire didn't just burn; it became a firestorm. This creates its own weather system, capable of melting engine blocks and glass, which can look like the result of an energy weapon.

 * The Power Line Arc: The official investigation found that when the high-voltage lines touched, they released a massive amount of electrical energy (an arc flash) into the surrounding dry brush. This is a terrestrial form of directed energy—essentially a sustained bolt of man-made lightning.

3. Comparing Energy Output

If we look at the energy required to evaporate a salt lake or burn 20 km^2, the numbers are staggering:

The "Highway of Death" Parallel

The imagery from the 1991 Highway of Death showed lines of vehicles completely incinerated. While it looked "beamed," military records and physical debris confirmed the use of CBU-87 Combined Effects Munitions. These are cluster bombs that release 202 submunitions, each creating a high-temperature jet of molten metal to pierce armor, which explains the "melted" look of the Iraqi convoys.  The only issue is the whole, cooked human remains in Iraq; not fragmented, not disintegrated that indicates an Air Superiority, Air Fryer impact, directed energy orbiting weapons or the atmospheric chemical based incendiary that chemically ignites with oxygen and causes the fire that roasts the target,  burns them.
